Received a notification today morning that one of my monthly donations had lapsed since it was set to automatically stop after several months. I logged into my account (no security questions btw) to enable the just-ended (disabled) recurrent donation, but there is no option to adjust the duration of my recurring donation - only option available is ‘indefinitely’. (See screengrab below).

 

Help! What am I doing wrong? I hoped that Enable would reinstate the donation with it’s previous settings, or at least allow me to edit everything.

I checked the ‘Help’ section which confirms that so should be able to do that (after all I had done it before and that’s why it has now lapsed)

On the Recurring Donation details page, the following options are available:

• Edit: Use this option to:
  • Change your Donation Amount.
  • Change the date on which your donation is processed.
  • Adjust the Duration of your recurring donation. You can choose for your donation to continue indefinitely or to limit it to a certain number of months.
  • Change the Payment Option used for the recurring donation.
• Disable: Use this option when you want to stop your recurring donation temporarily. When you want to reactivate your recurring donation, click Enable.

Called the local Branch office who confirmed that the option to select "Duration" has been discontinued. The only two options remaining are either "Donate Now (one-off)" or "Give Monthly (indefinitely)". If one does not wish to continue with the recurrent donation, then simply disable the donation.
