Those knowing your name will trust in you; you will never abandon those seeking you, O Jehovah.—Ps. 9:10.

We can say that a person knows about Jehovah if he is aware of God’s name or is familiar with some of the things that He has said or done. But to know Jehovah well involves more. We need to spend time learning about Jehovah and his wonderful qualities. Only then can we begin to understand what motivates him to speak and to act. That will help us to discern whether he approves of our opinions, decisions, and actions. Once we have discerned Jehovah’s will for us, we need to act on what we have learned. Some people may ridicule us for wanting to serve Jehovah, and they may oppose us even more when we start to associate with his people. Yet, if we trust in Jehovah, he will never let us down. We will be laying a foundation for friendship with God that will last a lifetime. Can we really know Jehovah that well? Yes, we can! w19.12 16-17 ¶3-4

You can't walk with God while holding hands with the Devil.

How thankful we can be for such a caring God that we have. Sometimes when we are struggling with simple things in life that most people take for granted like thinking and remembering, Jehovah tells us that he cherishes our very thoughts when we turn to him for the help we need from one day to the next.  Malachi 3:16.... and Jehovah kept paying attention and listening. And a book of remembrance began to be written up before him for those in fear of Jehovah and for those thinking upon his name.  Romans 10:13 - For “everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved. How heartwarming are all of Jehovah's words.

The one showing favor to the lowly is lending to Jehovah

For whatever reason, this text really switched a tiny lightbulb for me. Early in my studies as i was coming into the truth, I thought I knew Jehovah pretty well from my previous years of regularly reading and studying the Bible.  Now I know I had only barely seen the tip of the iceberg.  I am so grateful to sit at Jehovah's table and learn from Him. ❤️
