Chernobyl (HBO)

I recently watch the HBO series Chernobyl. Wow! It is unbelievable in both how realistic they made it and how the corrupt the government was about the disaster - absolutely terrible.

 

Probably one of the best series I’ve watched but is very intense so I suggest maybe after watching it put on a few episodes of Seinfeld lol.

Sorry to be updating this so late, but I love this series. It's some of the most powerful television I've ever watched.

I've seen the whole series twice and would have no problem watching it again. It's that good.

 

Probably not the kind of thing my mother would enjoy, but I love watching stories about engineering and management failures. There's so much to learn about how imperfect man can absolutely destroy things with his lack of foresight, while allowing ego, nationalism, and the pursuit of the "almighty" dollar ruin the earth and living things.

The fifth episode really highlighted this.
