Hello everyone, 

 

I want to express my gratitude for your support of JWPUBS™ AI Search since its release last year. This tool was designed to help publishers utilize artificial intelligence for research and study, and it has proven to be a valuable resource.

 

However, after careful consideration, I have decided to discontinue JWPUBS™ AI Search. It will now transition into a legacy feature until it eventually stops working.

 

What This Means for You:

• If you are currently using the tool, I recommend looking for alternative research methods or returning to traditional study approaches.
• If you haven’t used it yet, you still have time to explore its capabilities before it is fully phased out.

While there is a possibility that JWPUBS™ AI Search may be revived in the future, its fate remains uncertain. However, I am also considering developing a brand-new AI Search tool from the ground up, which would replace the current version. If this plan moves forward, I anticipate its release around late-2026.

JWPUBS™ RSS Subscription Library

NEW RELEASE

 

 

The new RSS Subscription Library is now available, replacing the legacy Media Subscription tool released in June 2024. Unlike its predecessor—which focused primarily on media feeds—this updated library offers a comprehensive range of subscription options for various types of content. Subscribers can receive automatic notifications whenever new releases or updates become available, without needing to manually visit the website.

Broader Range of Content

• Publications: Books, brochures, and other printed materials.

• Media: Audio and video recordings.

• Applications: App updates such as the library app.

• Periodicals: Magazines and meeting workbooks.

There are now more than 400 different RSS feeds to choose from. Each feed can be subscribed to individually, making it possible to receive notifications for specific items rather than subscribing to an entire category.

How It Works

1. Select an RSS Reader or Podcast App
   An RSS reader (such as Feedly or Feeder) or a podcast app (such as Apple Podcasts or YouTube Music) can be used to manage subscriptions.

2. Locate the RSS Feed Links
   Choose the feeds of interest from the RSS Subscription Library. Copy the specific feed URLs for the categories or individual items that need updates.

3. Add the Feeds to the Reader
   Paste the copied feed links into the chosen RSS reader or podcast app. The application will periodically check for new content and deliver notifications whenever updates are detected.

4. Stay Informed
   Receive alerts automatically, which helps save time and ensures that new releases or updates are not missed.

Continue Watching:
Resume videos exactly where it left off, with an option to clear the watch history if needed.

Note: This advanced feature is disabled by default. Enable it via Root Control and refresh the page. It is resource‑intensive and available only in the Video Library—use only if the device can handle the additional load.

 

Subscription Buttons:
Reintroduces hidden RSS feed buttons on the “What’s New” and “News” pages, which now allow subscription to the latest website updates and releases.

 

Custom Table View:
Now allows the feature to be enabled or disabled via Root Control or directly on the website, controlling whether the styled tables are shown on the webpage. Sorting is now also available for easier navigation.

 

Video Ambient Light:
Enhanced to be more responsive to the video’s color and now capable of displaying multiple color gradients simultaneously.
Note: This advanced feature is disabled by default. Enable it via Root Control and refresh the page. It is resource‑intensive and available only in the Video Library—use only if the device can handle the additional load.

 

Visual Updates:
Improved layout for the audio button and the paragraph link dialog box to better match the website’s overall theme.

 

Bug Fixes:
Resolved several issues to improve the overall performance and stability of the add-on.
