Bible with the name of god in text

I found a bible with the name of god in some of the typical texts. The bible was in a private museum in Ireland.

Since it says "Translated... by His Majesty's special command" on the title page, my first guess would be that this is the King James Version (1611).

Hi Robert, 

 

There are two main versions of the KJV. First the KJV 1611 and the KJV Standard. The second one should be the version which is available in the JWLIBRARY as well. 

 

If I compare the exact wording, I would say it is the KJV Standard. This bible printed or created in 1887 as shown as MDCCCLXXXVII.

Yes, the original 1611 version has some funky old English spellings. Also, the text did get revised from time to time, just like our 2013 NWT still gets the occasional tweaking.

 

Kinda funny that most "KJV only" believers have no idea their "perfect" Bible has gone through such revisions 😆

Ok. How many "KJV only" believers are there in some countries? In the non englisch speaking Europe, there are very less people which even know that there is a KJV bible.
