Community Supported Agriculture is solidarity

We might not need it! Here in the US, CSA is a way for local farms to sustain themselves financially by selling produce directly to local subscribers. I have subscribed to several CSA's throughout the years and I love it. Basically you pay a sum of money in advance to be a "member," and then every month you get a share of the produce or other food that the grower produces during the harvest season. It is a great way to try new fruits and vegetables, get them very fresh and support local farmers.

In the new system instead of paying money, maybe we will all work or contribute the labor needed to grow food, and then each household will get a share of the harvest. Who knows! Whatever it is it will be a lot better and more sustainable than the food production system we have now.

About JWTalk.net - Jehovah's Witnesses Online Community

Since 2006, JWTalk has proved to be a well-moderated online community for real Jehovah's Witnesses on the web. However, our community is not an official website of Jehovah's Witnesses. It is not endorsed, sponsored, or maintained by any legal entity used by Jehovah's Witnesses. We are a pro-JW community maintained by brothers and sisters around the world. We expect all community members to be active publishers in their congregations, therefore, please do not apply for membership if you are not currently one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
