Since there is no dedicated topic for icebergs, and seeing lots of action in Antarctica due to record rapid melting that is happening there.

 

The biggest focus at the moment is in the Thwaites Eastern Ice Shelf, seems to be a lot of new cracks forming and possible calving events upcoming. Doesn’t appear stable and looking more exposed to open sea than before.

 

While calving events are normal and not connected to Global Warming, what’s happening now is happening at a much faster rate due to warmer waters and winds which is connected to Global Warming.
