My cholesterol levels are not high.  They are on the high side of the normal range.  My GP did mention that lower cholesterol might help to stop the migraines.

I don't eat an excessive amount of fat.  My wife makes sure of that.  I am not a bacon-lover.  It is OK, but I can take it or leave it.

Sounds like he's guessing.  🙃

Or maybe it's just one of those things that sometimes makes a difference and sometimes it doesn't.  Some people have cholesterol problems due to consuming too much food that contains cholesterol.  Others, for some reason, tend to make too much cholesterol.  High cholesterol might not even be a problem for some.  I have read that cholesterol can clog arteries and that artificial sweeteners can scar the artery walls.  This scarring gives the cholesterol something to cling to on the artery walls.

I firmly believe in fasting to cleanse toxins from the body.  Years ago, I fasted for 3 days on 3 different occasions.  The problem now is that I am taking Amlodipine for high blood pressure and Eliquis for atrial fibrillation.  These medicines upset my stomach if I fast.  I would have to stop the medication if I fasted now.  The day after Armageddon, the medicine will be gone and I can have a long cleansing fast, probably for about a month.
