Is anyone else having issues with submitting their time for the month of April? Some publishers reported this, and I tried it myself and it is not longer working.  Anyone else?

Were they still using the old region servers? There is a reminder in NWS that everyone needs to convert to the new server by May 1st..

I just checked and imported 12 reports this morning. So, it is working for us.

NWS will flag it. When you open that specific entry, or try to choose one be given after that specific date.

I am thinking that all those newly discontinued outlines will be removed on the next update. There is a way posted on NW help page to edit the program files. I tried it and but it removed all the talk titles. So, it may be better to wait for the fix. At least for me.😁

Talk Coordinators, what do you do when it is announced that an outline is discontinued and shouldn't be given after a certain date? Is there a way to flag it in NWS so it isn't scheduled after a certain date?

From the past when you try to schedule it the software at that time flags it. I keep a separate list of our speakers going out with their talks and the associated revision date and will notify them when they need to address any discrepancies.

NWS does already flag the suspended outlines with notes, but they are missing one.  They do not have #112 flagged and it is suspended.  It helps that you can no longer view or download suspended outlines on jw.org.  A brother could still forget though or miss a notice so a while back I sent a list to our coordinator and the PT coordinator to be alert.

One other note, if you have #103 listed as suspended.  Yes #103 was suspended but they never sent a reinstatement  because they published a brand-new outline.  It previously was  “You Can Find Joy in Serving God” and now it is "How Can You Find Real Joy?"  So, although it is likely a very similar outline, they consider it a new talk. That must be why they did not see a need to send a reinstatement notice.

I went back to older notices and on average they allow the outlines back in rotation about 2 years after the C.O.'s have given the talk.

Current Public Talk outlines that are temporarily suspended

No. 59 “You Will Reap What You Sow”

No. 112 “How to Express Love in a Lawless World”

No. 122 “Global Peace—From What Source?”

No. 123 “Why Christians Must Be Different”

I open to suggestions for Public Witnessing Schedules. Preferably I like to implement the SMPW way of scheduling. They open the reservation for a month by the 15th of previous month. some take advantage of not having this restriction in place and the earliest one can reserve a slot is July 5th.

To sum it up, how do I reserve a key man slot that only key men can reserve and how do I enable the reservations on the 15th of any given month.
