Incorporating the audio Bible into audio publications

I noticed today that this week’s Treasures From God’s Word, when listened to in audio format, now uses snippets of audio from the audio NWT. I think not too long ago they had the reader for the treasures simply read the verses. This will make a big difference when a verse includes multiple characters (different voices).

 

The WT doesn’t seem to use snippets from the audio Bible (at least this week’s doesn’t—I haven’t listened far out to check future ones).

 

I hope eventually the WT and other new audio publications use snippets from the audio NWT.

I would expect so.

 

In American Sign Language, any time there is a scripture quotation, they use a clip from the official NWT in Sign Language instead of having the brother signing the article also sign the scripture. There are other things that we do today that sign language had been doing for before everyone else. Having audio snippets taken from the official audio NWT would follow this pattern.
