To All Our Dear Sisters: YOU Can Set The Example

To begin with, my words do NOT imply that you dear sisters are ALREADY not setting a good example in the congregation...no, far from it.

This is just a little insight, (for those of us who didn't know this point), of one very specific example of how you ARE setting an example for hundreds of millions of Jehovah's servants ALREADY...without even perhaps realizing it.

Who am I talking about?

The angels...and if you're wondering how:

Simply by, (whether married or unmarried), being in subjection to the spiritually qualified men in the congregation.

I ran across this point in my studies, and I was amazed and humbled at the same time. I already know how Jehovah feels about you spiritual sisters...but this just added to my love and respect for all of you...because subjection in and of itself is hard... and has even led to some mistreatment of those being in subjection.

I just wanted to share this point with all of you...because I can see what a reminder it is to treat every sister in our congregation with dignity and respect...and to remember that the angels themselves pattern their obedience after these beautiful jewels in our congregations.

I am linking the article I found this in below...it is a heartwarming read...and well worth the few minutes of time to re-orient ourselves with the idea and nature of subjection...and many different aspects of why it's important...and especially why it's not an easy task.
