Help required with starting a YouTube music channel

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

First, and I know this is an odd request given that I'm posting this on a forum, I am asking for anonymity regarding the project I will outline below.

I have been a wannabe songwriter for as long as I can remember. It has usually been a form of personal creative expression and reflection. I have also been interested in AI music creation since it began. So I decided to combine the two and create a YouTube music channel.

My goal here is to provide Witnesses with a source of clean music and to direct people to JW.org. I do not want to draw attention to myself. I enjoy writing. I enjoy researching the topics and themes for songs that are about Bible Truth. That is my reward. I don't need compliments or accolades from others. That is why I ask for anonymity.

However, I do need and want feedback on this project. I trust the members of this forum and humbly ask that you not share my identity with others (unless required to by the Watchtower Society, or for legal reasons, obviously).

Years ago, I created a YouTube channel but didn't do anything with it. I have since rebranded it to "Virtual Kingdom Reality" and uploaded a test video. However, I really don't know much about this side of YouTube.

What Am I Asking From You?

If you are interested, could you please have a look and give me feedback? I want the videos to be simple as it saves me time and money. I am also curious whether YouTube will put ads in it. I am sure they will. I just don't know how that will show up, and what type of ads they will show.

The first song is called "Coming Home." I have about 12 songs so far, and this one was just randomly chosen to be the first I put to video.

  • What do you think of the video format and style? Future videos will use the same format.

  • Do you have any suggestions about the YouTube channel in general?

  • What do you think of the channel name "Virtual Kingdom Reality"? I want to acknowledge the AI aspect, hence "Virtual"

  • Is this project worth doing?

If the video embeds, can you please view it on YouTube itself, so I can get feedback on that. Thanks.

Another Side Project

I am working on a GPT that will analyse how well your song aligns with accurate Bible truth and principles. Below is an example of the feedback it gives.

Positive Aspects:

  1. Hope and Trust in Jehovah – The lyrics emphasize relying on Jehovah’s love to overcome hardship, which is in harmony with scriptures such as Isaiah 41:10: “Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you.”

  2. Spiritual Transformation – The song describes a personal journey from despair to faith, a concept reflected in Psalm 34:18: “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” It also aligns with the idea of putting on a new personality (Ephesians 4:22-24).

  3. The Power of God’s Word – The verse mentioning “a small book cradled in my hands” points to how the Bible can be a lifeline, in agreement with Psalm 119:105: “Your word is a lamp to my foot, And a light for my path.”

  4. Baptism and Dedication – The final verse about “stepping into the light” and “cleansing water” could allude to baptism, which is an important milestone in a Christian’s life (Matthew 28:19, 20; Acts 22:16).

Minor Adjustments to Consider:

Jehovah’s Role in Strengthening Us – While the song implies inner strength, it would be even more in harmony with scripture to highlight that Jehovah provides this strength directly, as stated in Philippians 4:13: “For all things I have the strength through the one who gives me power.” You might consider making Jehovah’s role in the rising more explicit.

Ensuring Clarity on God’s Promises – The phrase “a promise of light” is beautiful, but Jehovah’s promises are specific—such as everlasting life (John 17:3) or a future without pain (Revelation 21:4). If the song is referring to a specific scriptural promise, making that clear would strengthen its spiritual impact.

It is a low-priority project at the moment, but I am happy to share a private link to it when it is finished.

Thank you.

Thanks Bobby,

I don't want to make money from this. If anything, I would direct people to JW.org to make donations there.

I won't be doing live stuff. It's just a way to make clean music available to others.

Thanks,
