What a heartbreaking song about getting old by singer, songwriter Jax. It seems like yesterday I was walking in her shoes, seeing my parents age and struggle . Now both are gone, waiting for the resurrection. I have had several health problems that I struggle with. Two days after the doctor told me I was cancer free, my younger sister died from COPD and other health issues. Death has a way of humbling you.

Oh my, you hit the nail on the head! My sentiments exactly. I'm at that point now when all those I know are showing the signs of getting old. No, no one has died yet from among my closest friends. One of them started getting borderline dementia just a year ago, and he's not too much older than me!

 

The song brought tears to my eyes. ("...watching time take everyone you love")
