The GB would never use that definition for a Witness during a trial. They would mention things like baptism and being in good standing. Heart condition cannot be proven in court because it involves mind reading.

That's the court's problem, not God's

A JW is one who Jesus reads their heart and decides - Yes.

Since you mentioned grandmothers. I had 2 witness grandmothers.

Both baptized waaaaay back  when it was a major sin to leave a church. Back when there were not very many JWs on earth especially in my area.

# 1 Grandmother was sweet and kind

#2 grandmother was mean and hard to get along with.

#1 Grandmother  went to all meetings and was active in service, produced offspring that a few generations down had multiple ones in bethel. She was loved by all.

#2 Grandmother  baptized very early in modern history , quit going to meetings and  never went in service even when she had abilities to. She Loved Jehovah  and all things spiritual . All conversations revolving around Jehovah were of great joy to her.  She was so mean she hardly went to the Kingdom Hall.  Nobody  liked her,  including  her children or grandchildren. She was easily offended by elders. Yet, she took the truth when nobody around her did and it was hard to do so. . Her personality did not care what other humans thought.

From her 1 Good Decision to become  a JW  she ...Produced many children, grandchildren , great grandchildren serving in many great capacitys in the organization, including 1  offspring of the anointed .

She wasn't immoral. She didn't drink. She didn't cuss.  She prayed and studied all magazines regular. She didn't go to the meetings.

Was she a JW ? I dunno. Jesus will decide that.

Thats my long answer to a short question. Lol!

I know an anointed brother whose  wife was a pioneer for 40 years. He wasn't . All his children are pioneers , elders, need greaters , etc . As for  Grandchildren-  almost all are serving Jehovah.

He misses most meetings. Ive never seen him in service. Is he crazy?  Maybe. He sure did produce a lot of witnesses.

Was he or  is he  a Jw ? Jesus will decide.
