The Human Affectome Project?

Recommended Posts

The Human Affectome Project is all about understanding what we feel and why. Just like scientists once mapped out all our genes in the Human Genome Project, this one tries to map out all our emotions—every feeling we have, from joy and love to grief and guilt.

It looks at how we talk about feelings in different cultures, how emotions show up in the brain, and how they shape our decisions and relationships. It’s a mix of science, psychology, and even philosophy—asking questions like: What exactly is an emotion? How does it affect how we act? How do feelings guide our sense of right and wrong?

In short, it’s an effort to chart the full emotional landscape of what it means to be human. Want to dig into a few of the emotions they’ve mapped out?

That's almost word-for-word the AI response I got when I asked about it. 🤓😮

About JWTalk.net - Jehovah's Witnesses Online Community

Since 2006, JWTalk has proved to be a well-moderated online community for real Jehovah's Witnesses on the web. However, our community is not an official website of Jehovah's Witnesses. It is not endorsed, sponsored, or maintained by any legal entity used by Jehovah's Witnesses. We are a pro-JW community maintained by brothers and sisters around the world. We expect all community members to be active publishers in their congregations, therefore, please do not apply for membership if you are not currently one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
