India historical news brought back to the fore, regarding neutrality.

Recommended Posts

The Supreme Court of India addressed a case involving Jehovah’s Witness schoolchildren who chose not to sing the national anthem while still standing respectfully. The Court ruled that such conduct did not constitute disrespect or an offence, since it neither disrupted the assembly nor interfered with others.

The point worth noticing is the distinction the Court upheld: respect shown freely, without enforced participation. This recognition helps clarify how conscience can be protected while public order is maintained.
