Not a good year

From the article:

"Across the country, law enforcement agencies spy on believers, often using agents who pose as people interested in the Bible. For months — sometimes years — they secretly record conversations and later testify in court as anonymous witnesses."

It may or may not happen in the U.S., where we currently enjoy relative freedom, but if it does, I expect the same tactics will be used. However, they will not succeed in silencing Jehovah's people. I will have my brothers and sisters in my prayers.

I expect that with time they may even begin to offer financial incentive to people who report any JW that preaches to them secretly.

You can imagine how rampantly people will begin to show interest just to make some easy money from reporting a JW who secretly preaches to them with audio recordings as evidence.

I think our brothers should mostly focus their preaching on only close unbelieving relatives who can be trusted to protect them.

I think my family are the most likely to turn me in.

About JWTalk.net - Jehovah's Witnesses Online Community

Since 2006, JWTalk has proved to be a well-moderated online community for real Jehovah's Witnesses on the web. However, our community is not an official website of Jehovah's Witnesses. It is not endorsed, sponsored, or maintained by any legal entity used by Jehovah's Witnesses. We are a pro-JW community maintained by brothers and sisters around the world. We expect all community members to be active publishers in their congregations, therefore, please do not apply for membership if you are not currently one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
