Furthermore, many will follow their brazen conduct,*+ and because of them the way of the truth will be spoken of abusively.

 

The apostle Peter further argues:

 

“For the time that has passed by [before becoming servants of God] is sufficient for you to have worked out the will of the nations when you proceeded in deeds of loose conduct.

 

So who was he speaking of ?

Christians of his day

So we aren’t trying to act like even today in the one and only true religion, some claiming to be servants of God and Christ turn from the way of light and display a brazen, defiant attitude toward divine law and authority. Peter warned the early Christians that false teachers would come from among their own ranks and that many would follow their acts of loose conduct, bringing reproach upon the way of truth.

 

As elders in what’s called a judicial committee we never require victims of child abuse to present their accusation in the presence of the alleged abuser. however we see ex-witnesses as adults have done so,

To be clear any one found guilty of this conduct is expelled from the congregation and is no longer considered one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

 

Our action is not a replacement for the authorities’ handling of the matter,In all cases, victims and their parents have the right to report an accusation of child abuse to the authorities. Therefore, victims, their parents, or anyone else who reports such an accusation to the elders are clearly informed by the elders that they have the right to report the matter to the authorities.

 

So the accusations we cover up and protect a brother is false.

The first thing we do is contact the branch to ensure compliance with child abuse reporting laws.

As such this is a judicial matter of a JW minster and his future standing in the congregation and the decision as to his continuing his ministry not a criminal investigation where he is subject to be arrested

The Judicial brothers have no legal duty to report an accusation to the authorities ,we are a theocracy ruled from Gods supreme heavenly Government which one day will be rule all inhabitants

 

Not like Christendom's parliamentary type system
