JW Library highlight Issues

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone I need help with this small issue I’m having

I recently bought a new iPad Pro 13 inch to use for my talks and assignments

but I’m having an issue with the highlighting

for one when I highlight normally I get the pop up to be able to copy or change the color but it’s not showing up

another issue I’m having is that whatever I highlight doesn’t save. I will leave the publication or go to another page and the highlight doesn’t seem to stay and deletes when I return

Only thing that works is highlight and adding notes from another tablet and dropping a backup to the new one. But even then I still can’t edit the highlighted stuff stuff

I’ve already deleted the app and reinstalled it but didn’t work

Were you able to resolve it? I had the same issue several years ago on my Samsung tablet. I cannot recall exactly but pretty sure it resolved itself after a few days and probably me uninstalling a few times. Now interestingly, suddenly, last night on Zoom, on my desktop, during the meeting I made a few notes on the Personal Gems, minimized JW Lib because I had a part, afterwards brought it back up and all my notes were gone! The tag was still there but no notes 🤔Something like that has never occurred and hopefully was just a one off. ( I don't think I imagined typing the notes! 😁)

I hope someone here can help you out with those issues 'cause it is frustrating.

Anyone??

I don't have the answer but it makes me wonder if the file or folder it saves the notes in is write protected somehow.

I'm also having the same issues. I have version 26.4 of iPadOS. What is your iPadOS version?

It’s the latest update

my only issue is that all my other tablets and phones work.

this is the second iPad I’ve gotten that does this

so I’m not sure
