Third and Final Day Regional Convention Changes, Lusaka Zambia

The third and Final day of the 2026 Eternal Happiness Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses in Lusaka Zambia, English circuits which was scheduled to be held at the National Heroes Stadium has been moved to JW stream due to a political event that scheduled it's campaign launch on the same vicinity area of our venue. The current governing political party in Zambia is intending to launch it's campaigns in view of this year's August general elections in Zambia in which incumbent president intends to launch his presidential election campaigns. In view of this, we have all been directed to stream the rest of today's programs on jw stream

Mayne for security reasons? Meaning its safer that way icw civil unrest?

Or just practical reasons?

AFAIK the launch is officially taking place 'outside' the National Heroes Stadium, but many reports etc are appearing to simply say the location is the National Heroes Stadium 🤷‍♂️

 

Also note the advert/picture on the right hand side .... AFAIK that is actually a cut-and-paste picture showing inside the stadium, rather an outside...

FWIW the Bethel is an approximate 45 minute car drive from the stadium - a 22 km / 14 mile journey
