Who is from the UK?

Recommended Posts

Just interested to know who is from the UK here?

I know some of you were originally from UK, but just wondered if you are here now.

We are having a hot spell, not a draught yet

But two major heat waves in the last few weeks.

I remember being at assemblies at Twickenham in Very hot weather.

My son was born in 1989 , that was a hot summer we sheltered in the tunnels because it was cool.

Memories:)

Two from South Wales, looks like I should move there:)

Anyone in the Southeast or London out there?

It doesn't really matter just curious. This site brings us altogether anyway 😁

👍🫠🥵 Me from Dover but lived in west London for last 40 yes.  Used to love Twickenham when it was the creeky old wooden stadium and doing 6 weeks pre- assembly setup.

Twickenham was our first assembly. I was about 10 nearly 11. It was an international assembly 78/79. I remember walking over a big bridge. The carparks were really a long way from the stadium.

After some years we went to the Brighton Centre, we were very spoilt there.

But I missed the atmosphere at Twickenham, especially before I became a mother.

The long queues for the food and the toilets!

It was quite horrible really, but the unity felt so unique.
