New Boots!

I get to wear my new boots in service today...because it's cold enough.

Hi Nancy...wish I could say the same thing--that it's cold enough to wear boots here....It was about 108 here yesterday--supposed to be hotter today....

Wow...108...it was cool this morning but at the end of the morning I needed to take off the boots and my leather coat...lol...I am rushing Fall along.

Well for cold weather boots you have to go to LLBean,they have free shipping ...mine are not cold weather boots...they look exactly like these....only problem is I found out they are too roomy in the calf and I will need to wear leg warmers with them I think.I thought I could tighten the buckles but I can't....but I still love them.

I wear some in service that look excatly like these from LL Bean in cold weather....LL Beans stuff last forever and even though initially pricey you will not have to replace these boots for years.

I too am from California ( central coast) like Gabrielle. Very envious of you because you need your boots for the very cold weather. Here in Cali we sisters have to find a reason to buy boots. "oh. Look it might rain today, oops just a sprinkle". Enjoy your boots because you need them for the right reason - the ministry!

1. First of all change heels. The factories usually use plastic heels while shoe repairer's rubber.

2. Buy a water repellent spray for shoes (by using every two weeks)

3. Buy a self shine cream with color.

4. Wash every week the sole.
