There was a fellow named Steve

he was quite Naive

but then he started to sneeze

and said Good day my friends

I have some good news to share

with you thieves. Did you not know

your days are numbered?

"It's a known fact that eighty decibels of rushing water is one of the most pleasing sounds known to mankind. On other hand, ten and a half days at sea is enough water for anybody."

of life's everlasting refreshing

waters. Come said he take it

thirsty ever again

"It's a known fact that eighty decibels of rushing water is one of the most pleasing sounds known to mankind. On other hand, ten and a half days at sea is enough water for anybody."

writer of limericks was surfer girl

she'd whip them up in a twirl

writing all about Jehovah and the new world order

free from prejudiced, countries without a border

booting here and there in a whirl

he was in the yard pruning his trees

then he met Clez. She said do you know

Trees are spoken about. In the Psalms.

If you read daily we won't need Baileys

So you see just like a tree. you will be

made firm. don't Need to be concerned.

"It's a known fact that eighty decibels of rushing water is one of the most pleasing sounds known to mankind. On other hand, ten and a half days at sea is enough water for anybody."

Fez was now off the baileys and beer

He was onto something of good cheer

A Bible study he now had

Giving up all that was bad

Of future days he had no fear

Well said Norma

I love it

lets see if we can bring Steve back.

Please please please Steve don't go

Everyones creative juices are starting to flow

Don't give up so easily

Don't be so measily

Get yourself on a high not a low

OK.... how can I resist that...:notworthy:

Some suggestion to see if we can get others on board

To write a good limerick well

we have to have something to tell

just be doing your part

write what's in your heart

then your limerick will really be swell

I think it followed the rules. I liked it too. I am happy if anyone can point out any mistakes I make.

:welcome:back Steve.:welcome:

Looking to Christ as our teacher

Helps us become a better preacher

Books and Bibles in our hand

Preaching out thru all the land

There was a sister named Megan.

She was quiet a vegan.

But she was a keen one at applying

the advice on being an encouragement

to all. Both young & oldies.

"It's a known fact that eighty decibels of rushing water is one of the most pleasing sounds known to mankind. On other hand, ten and a half days at sea is enough water for anybody."

A limerick I have tried to write

the words I can't get right

but I'm happy to be on this forum

I can be myself without decorum

I can be at peace without a fight

A limerick needs to be written right

the meter and rhythm should be real tight

if its written wrong

its more like a song

so lets get going and start tonight!>:D<

There was a Brother name Lynn

boy did he like to sing.

He encouraged one and all.

To sing from the heart was

A bit of an art...

"It's a known fact that eighty decibels of rushing water is one of the most pleasing sounds known to mankind. On other hand, ten and a half days at sea is enough water for anybody."

Toms talks were too fast

Main points made not to last

Refusing to go slow down

The Audience would frown

So the elders took him to task

Toms talks now are good

Given as they should

Congregation lost its frown

Fruits of spirit now abound

Unitied in our brotherhood
