I've managed to download some photos of the right size, but having trouble posting it in my profile for everyone to see.

After the image has been accepted by the system, you still have to select it using the radio button, and click the submit button. In other words, just because it has been uploaded successfully, does not mean that it has been selected for use just yet. You can upload up to 10 images if I recall correctly.

we have same problem about posting profile picture for a couple of days,, but just this day i made it successfully,

your pic is sure bigger than the requirements,, if u wanna try,, go to http://www.loonapix.com/framer/result/.. then find the photo frames and download your pic,, make ure pic in smallest size then crap it,, hope it can be applied on ure pc..i used Gimp image editor for craping. hope it can help downloading your own pic successfully.><
