Sky Landers

My 8 yr old son heard about skylanders from his bible study. We do not have any type of game system and know very little about these games. I was wondering if anyone has any advise as to whether Skylanders is good or bad and why.

I took this from the Sky Landers wiki

"There are over thirty standard characters and 8 different elements under which characters are classified. The 8 elements are Magic, Water, Tech, Fire, Earth, Life, Air and Undead."

Reminds me of the old rollpaying games I played when I was a teen (Warhammer ect ect)

This is the kind of thing I'm not looking forward to when my boys get to the age of liking stuff like this. Use the Sparlock illustration I guess
