Our snow today

This is my backyard table showing how much it snowed last night. Still snowing. Did you get snow? Happy to be able to stay home today. We will tackle the shoveling later. Oh gotta love Canadian winters! I've missed them. When we were kids the snow drifts were taller than we were. This is nothing!

Never mind Beth, I put my snow picture in "Post a Picture" instead of the weather thread. See my greeting to you all on my shed roof!

When we had really deep snow in our garden one year I went out and shuffled around creating a kind of maze of a paths 3 foot deep at the sides. Our late little sheltie dog Skip loved running down these tunnel like paths playing hide and seek and jumping to throw himself into the deep snow and shaking his head in it. It looked so crazy funny I wished I had a video camera at that time.

We are expecting more snow at the weekend and into Monday.Hope it clears for Tuesday as my husband has to travel along the old road that runs parallel with Roman Emperor Hadrian's Wall to get to work on the East Coast and it can be a bit exposed up there.
