Recording To A Dvd

I'm wanting to download the children's videos on JW.org and put them on a blank DVD for a brother to show his grandchildren. I downloaded the videos OK, but when I burn them on a blank DVD (I tried both DVD-R and DVD+RW), they would not play back on a regular DVD player, but would play back on my computer. I want them to play back on a regular DVD player. What do I need to do to make that happen?

You need software that will take the video format and convert it to DVD Format and then burn it to DVD. There are several good ones out there. Like "DVD FAB" and the one I use "Convert to DVD". Also some "CD" software will now do DVD's, like Nero and "Easy CD Player" which now has a version called "Easy DVD".
