I saw this on the news, like what are they going to do with a piece of a torn up parchment?  You can't match it to anything.  I guess its a collectors item, they'll keep it in some dry room with protection on it, Its all about money.

I read an interesting book once... About the studying of the dead sea scrolls and the politics behind it.... If i remember the authors ...not me... Said the organization doing the studying were delibrately dragging their heels on it and have been for decades. I think that it also said that most of the scrolls has been studied but findings not released for the public. It gave a couple of reasons why the authors thought this was so but it was all conjecture. Its an interesting subject but We have everything we need and things like the scrolls just prove that Jehovahs word has come thru the centuries to us virtually unscathed.
