Lobster Tail Chowder.

My Hubby went diving yesterday & brough home some Lobsters.

 

With one half of a head. I made a broth.

they are alright. Never had Lobster much before.

 

I added 2 red onions & 1 white onion.

chicken stock.

bacon bones.

1 head from a Lobster.

celery half a bunch.

pepper.

a good dash of salt. 

one head of garlic.

1 bunch of chives.

a few anchovies. ( they disappear when you cook them in soup)

1 yellow pepper( capsicum)

 

tumeric for color.

& garnish with chilli flaxes.

 

 

serve on a bed of rice.

Interesting that you used the heads. I have heard that is where the flavor is.

This is bacon bones. its the end of the Ham;/bacon. is smoked & dried more. & gives stocks/soup a great flavour.
