I've just watched a documentery about the Royal Commmision into child abuse within the Salvation Army. This religeous group  got started on the principle of helping people in need. But despite the work of many people, evil men and women have moved in and brought deep reproach on the Salvation Army. All to often the perpetrators hid behind a front of piety. I feel sorry for the victims, but also for the well meaning workers who must by now feel betrayed.

Worse still is the complicity shown by well meaning people trying to protect the reputation of the church. As one victim put it "aiding and abeting".

No wonder our God Jehovah gives us warning such as we find in the current study articles "

Yes this current WT article is a healthy dose of warning as well as calming with the reassurance that Jehovah does see what's happening and will deal harshly with those who do these bad things- but its hard to wait, as it seems more and more keep getting abused.
