    Reflecting on the convention, and can't help but to LOL at myself for not realizing something so obvious about Job in the drama. It took me a minute. I won't go into details b/c I don't want it to be a spoiler for those who haven't had their DC yet. But maybe in a few months, I can let you all know how much of a dweeb I am sometimes. LOLOLOL.

    I use my Nexus 7 every meeting, and prior to getting it, I used my Note 2. It's way too convenient not to. I love having all of my materials in one place. Not having an "oops" moment b/c I rushed out of the house and forgot to grab a book we may need for the service meeting/school. I take my tablet, a Bible and a smile to each meeting

    I agree with the Note 8, I would absolutely love to have one...but like you, that price is wayyyy too deep for my pockets. I did buy the jot stylus yesterday, but as you warned, it's no wear near the precision and accuracy and I get with my Note 2 stylus. Looks like I'll be using good old paper and pen at the district Won't complain though, I got the Nexus for free with my AT&T Uverse, so I'm good.

    Thank you, I will check it out. What device did you use it with? I sure would much rather have the Note 8, that would solve my problems. But I got teh Nexus for free so I can't complain.

    Hi everyone, I got my Nexus 7 last Thursday. I've really taken a liking to it...lovely device, snappy, great battery life and a vanilla android experience is a plus in my book. However I'm having a hard time finding a suitable stylus to use for note taking. I guess I've been spoiled by my Note 2's note taking capabilities. The Note's stylus is pretty much like a regular pen just with a rubber tip. I really want to use my Nexus for note taking at the upcoming DC July 4th weekend. I have a couple of the cheapo ones, but the tip only replicates the tip of your finger, not good for writing. I ordered a pack of 3 by "The Friendly Swede". Nice sturdy stylus, with a smaller tip, but still not good enough for precision writing. Does anyone have any suggestions for a stylus that's close to the one that comes with the Note 2? I welcome any and all suggestions. TIA friends! <3

      Todays meeting was fantastic. We had a talk on walking in integrity. The WT helped refresh the importance of being one of Jehovah's people, and not taking our faith for granted.

    Trisha open the app and hit the 3 lines in the bottom right hand corner. Go to prefences and "enable photocopy". It will automatically sync new pics you take to the cloud. For pics already in your device, you can simply create a folder, or use the photocopy folder already created for you synced pics, then click on the arrow with the line underneath it to upload your pictures. It will open up your media/file folders and you can choose what you want to upload. Easy, peasy

    I use the following for all of my ministry, study and theocratics needs on my Note 2, as well as non theocratic apps: 1.Daily text Pro-It has a transparent widget that goes well with any wallpaper. Also able to save texts as my favorite and share them. 2. NWT Pro-Love the search feature and Bible topics for discussion. 3. YouVersion Bible 4. Ministry Assistant 5. JW Songbook-Good for offline use 6. Copy cloud storage-For online storage of all the publications, photosync etc. 7. A plethora of PDF readers: ezPDF, Mantano, MoonReader, Repligo. In my search to find the one that best fits my needs, I ended up buying them all! I think I'm leaning towards ez as my favorite. Oh yeah, Foxit is pretty good too(its free). 8. Merriam Dictionary, Dictionary.com 9. FTP Cafe 10. EZFile Explorer 11. Papyrus 12. JW Podcaster 13. Ruzzle, CandyCrush-My absolute fav games. 14.OI Safe 15. LMT Pie

    As Dismal said they are awesome for online backup. I really took to using cloud storage after a memory card I had corrupted and I lost tons of irreplaceable pictures and videos Don't ever want to have to deal with that again. I personally prefer the cloud for all of my study materials as well. WT's, publications, videos etc so I can have them all on my phone and not take up the phone's storage. I simply open up the book from the cloud app using whichever reader I choose. When I'm done with studying, the annotations will be uploaded to the cloud. Also, Copy has a photo sync option. You can turn that feature on, then all new pics taken will be automatically saved to your cloud.
