  1. Betty ~ How can I assist a sister who wants to become a member of JWTalk. Chuck ~ Just have her register for an account by answering the simple registration questions, etc. Thanks, Chuck ~ Where does she find the registration question form?
  2. There may have been a thread on this before but I can't find it. I'm needing help on how to use the scan code to download the magazines or whatever else you can do with it. What do I need to download to use it on my cell phone. I don't know anything about it so any info will be appreciated. Thank you.
  3. Dearest Chris, I too cannot stand this! Is your son & family OK and what about you. I wish that there was something that I could do to comfort you, I will ask Jehovah to do that. We're to the point that it's continuing to worsen daily but all of it is shocking & affecting the brotherhood. Please take good care, Chris. You are in my heart & prayers.
  4. Thanks, Lynn. I wonder if they will just let it go at that or keep things stirred up.

    Blogging

Dave, I too enjoy your blog! Love it!
  6. Dear Brother Henderson, I just want to tell you that after my divorce I had to go back to work full time at age 60 & then had to quit because of my poor health. I was scared & didn't know how I would pay all the bills. Now at age 72 I now live on my Social Security & small penson & have been able to pay my bills. Most of the time at the end of the month I know that the only way that I have accomplished this is with Jehovah's help. I don't have any extra after bills are paid but I am very very content with my simpler life. Staying close to Jehovah by reading the Bible daily, prayer, meetings & putting his Kingdom first in your life is the answer. Jehovah has promised that he will care for you. Sometimes when I feel that things aren't quite right, I stop & examine myself to see where I am falling short & correct whatever it may be so that our loving heavenly father, Jehovah will continue to take care of me. If you are able look for friends old & young that might need assistance & help them out. It makes you feel so good, just as Jesus said "there is more happiness in giving" :readbible:
  7. It just brings a tear because Jehovah, our creator is awesome! Thanks for sharing, Chuck!
  8. I plan on being a stand-up comedian & I'm half way there.
  9. Henderson, losing your empoyment is a cause for concern but keep in mind the expressions that has Jehovah made about sustaining his servants. The inspired psalmist wrote: “Jehovah will not forsake his people.” (Ps. 94:14) And Jesus Christ said: “Never be anxious and say, ‘What are we to eat?’ or, ‘What are we to drink?’ or, ‘What are we to put on?’ . . . For your heavenly Father knows you need all these things. Keep on, then, seeking first the kingdom and his righteousness, and all these other things will be added to you.”—Matt. 6:31-33. Therefore, all who truly seek God’s kingdom and his righteousness first will experience his loving care. Though you may find yourself in seemingly hopeless circumstances, the expressions of Jehovah’s mouth will sustain you. As the manna was a tangible expression from Jehovah’s mouth and kept the Israelites alive in the wilderness, so today Jehovah’s promise to sustain his servants will take a tangible form. Since undue worry about daily cares of life can be destructive to our spiritual outlook, we do well to keep strong our faith in Jehovah’s ability to provide for us.—Heb. 13:5, 6. You will be in my thoughts & prayers.
  10. Thanks, Peter! I enjoy keeping up on the news & have added it to my favorites. Another thing to take up my time!
  11. Thank's Nance. I received that in an email today & say so much truth in it!
  12. ''LOVE'' NEVER FAILS” It is such a precious thing. It’s fragile, and it cares. It damages so easily, So handle it with care. It’s free to those who seek it. There’s enough for all to share. The more that LOVE is given out, in the right way The more there is to share !!! TRY IT !!! 1Co 13:8
  13. This is either late for this year or early for next year[/large] HAPPY ANNIVERSARY CHUCK & GABRIELE [large]
  14. Vernalee. I thought that was meant for you! Attached files
  15. I'm on Pinterest & don't use it a lot but really enjoy it when I do. Lot's of good recipes & all kinds of crafts(tu)
  16. My Dear Bro Micah, I am so sorry that you are suffering so many tramatic events. I pray that your wife heals well. I would go beyond writing a letter to the hospital & making a formal complaint. It sounds to me like it calls for a law suit. Who knows what would have happened with your wife had you not taken her to another hospital! I have never sued anyone but you should consider this for all that you both have had to endure. On another note. You have many encouraging comments from the friends. I especially like Celsslyn's illustration. Yes, you can be assured that Jehovah knows everything that is happening with you, he cares & is there for you. Remember too that it is the faithful one's that Satan targets! "Be wise, my son, and make my heart rejoice, that I may make a reply to him that is taunting me" Prov 27:11 One suggestion that I have if you are not already using the phone-tie-in, please be sure and do that! It's not the same as being at the KIH but you have the encoragement of the meetings talks, comments, song (sing along with the cong), prayers etc. You get to hear the bro & sis voices! You are counted as being present & most of all have Jehovah's blessing. You are in my prayers, Micah. Warm Christian Love, Sis Betty
  17. My 6 year old gr8grandaughter, Lacie, told her grandma (my daughter) that she wished she could take her eyelashes off because they rub the windows on her goggles ....love that little girl!!!
  18. I haven't faded away, just still trying to make this work! After I extract the file I can't see a "REG". I know that I'm missing something or I'm just plain dumb
  19. Heartfelt thanks, Chuck. I miss not being able to download the new magazines. Gonna see if your instructions work
