Formula for Ego

 If we operate the formula exactly as it's written, then, as we know more, our ego diminishes. We end up in a situation where what we now know is useless because we have become so reserved we don't feel our opinion is worth anything

how is this reflected in our  real life?Is there a possibility of having ego equals to knowledge??whats does  such point justify????o know the difficult part of the formula is how the ego is defined and how to measure it...

Also there is book knowledge vs applied knowledge. Applied knowledge usually helps to shrink the ego because with application comes with mistakes but with mistakes comes trying to figure out a better way and then applying again. 

Book knowledge only seems to inflate the ego and most book knowledge only people usually are afraid of mistakes so they will not try to apply the knowledge, just to know it and flaunt it.
