While it is good the church has finally taken a stand I was shocked (well I guess not really it is babylon after all) that the church had even been accepting the money, to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars every year, in the first place. Money from pokie machines, gambling money!

At least they have taken a stand but how could it not have been the obvious thing to do from the beginning?

Wow Zak, thanks for posting. I must have missed this in the news.

It's actually quite disgusting. What hypocrisy! To think the Anglican Church was lobbying against gaming machines in the city while at the same time accepting funding from the same gaming machines, beggars belief.
