Very interesting article in the news about an effort by Media Development Investment Fund (MDIF) to deploy miniature satelites into low orbit bringing wi-fi to now-restricted places. Project Lead is Syed Karim and he has responded to questions on Reddit.

 

With our campaign in August which will draw attention to JW.ORG, this secular effort to open territories up to the Internet is quite remarkable.

 

Hopefully, some of you friends who are much more savvy than me can shed more light on this .  .  .

Very interesting. It will open up new fields for sure, especially even in countries where our work is restricted.
