It appears that Marxists and other Socialist groups such as Maoists and Trotskyites are deeply involved in what is happening in the Middle East. We can see here a set of statements from various Marxist groups expressing solidarity with the people of Egypt and Tunisia and demanding that the West stay out of what is happening.

Apparently a Marxist in one of the New Zealand parties is saying that the revolutions will soon spread to other harsh dictatorships such as Greece, Spain and France  So keep an eye on them over coming days, we have already seen small protests by Marxists in Brisbane and there will probably be others which will grow in days to come.

:lol2: harsh dictatorship ? No, France is...compared with country such as Kazakhstan, Jordan, etc... very very liberal.

That's what got me laughing, Spain was a dictatorship decades ago and France was about two centuries ago, but to call them that now is hilariously off base. But then what these people are talking about is that these countries have laws against things like the burqa and are to some degree capitalist. The ones making these claims are Marxists and to them free market economies based on small governments are repressive and dictatorial while places run by Socialists and Muslim extremists are somehow "free" even if they have to murder large portions of the population until everyone agrees they are free.
