So, 9 months ago. It does look like Libya's war is almost over. Egypt will soon have elections. Things will calm down and the focus will be on the economy.

I'm wondering if something big might be happening soon with Iran and especially Syria. Syria keeps slaughtering protesters despite serious condemnation by other major countries (and, if I remember correctly, the United Nations).

Members of the UN and even Mr. Ban, the Secretary General, has spoken against what is happening in Syria; but they have not been able to get a condemnation passed in the Security Council - China & Russia vetoed it.

As to Iran, things are brewing, but they have a long history of "putting down" any who dissent with them in their own country.

Plan ahead as if Armageddon will not come in your lifetime, but lead your life as if it will come tomorrow (w 2004 Dec. 1 page 29)
