Swedish Torch great for boiling water and starting a fire.

Recommended Posts

THis is a great tip for survival and an easy way to get water boiling when needed. I have another one to show you too that does not involve spitting any wood.

This one is a different way you can do this even with wet wood. Works great from what I can see here.

No no quiet. Sorry Peggy. I am referring this in the event of a disaster. Its an easy way to get a fire going and keep it going even with damp wood. These are great tips for keeping warm in an emergency situation. That all night fire idea would keep you warm all day or all night. The torch idea is a quick way to get water boiling if you can't or don't have a way to purify it.

I will bow out.
