The Theocratic Bird

This was told to me somectime ago by a sister. I think it's funny and cute.

A man went into a pet shop one day to purchase a bird. "This bird used to belong to one of Jehovah's witnesses" the pet shop owner said. The buyer said he had no problem with that and took the bird home.

As soon as he got home, the bird began saying " field service, field service." The man said "arrghh" and threw a cover over the bird. The bird, under the cover began saying "kingdom hall, kingdom hall." Arrdh! the man exclaimed, "I know what I'll do. I'll throw him against the wall, that'll get it out of him!"

So the man grabs the bird by the neck, throws him up against the wall, and as he's sliding down the wall, the birds calls out "no blood! no blood!"
