Know any Brothers from Cuba?

We are going to fly into Holguin Cuba in January for one week. We will be closer to Guadalavaca. Will be our second time down there with my in laws and thought it would be great to get in touch with the Brothers there. We would love to pay a Brother to take us around for the day. Not sure if this would be possible or not. 

 

Any information would be great guys.

Oops... interesting... there are no contact info nor meeting schedules for congregations in Cuba at JW.org.

 

I thought there might be now that the government is cutting the brothers some slack, but I suppose our work is still officially under ban and they are still being cautious.

the work in Cuba is officially under ban ?

by looking at numbers in the yearbook, I thought this country has the most liberal comunist government

I don't think its under ban more restricted. I saw news articles that talk about  our Brothers and Sisters going from door to door. I will see about posting the article for you guys. Its from Havana times I think.Yes here it is.

HAVANA TIMES — Every Sunday, two Jehovah’s Witnesses come to my house. At first the visits weren’t welcomed because that’s the day I try to take care of a lot of my outstanding “stuff,” so I hardly have time to talk.

But one of the young women is nice, and it’s a pleasure to listen to her. In addition, I prefer being courteous and not behaving like many people in our neighborhood, those who refuse to let them come in and virtually slam the door in their faces
