Religion to become extinct, says model of census data

A study using census data from nine countries shows that religion there is set for extinction, say researchers.

The data reflect a steady rise in those claiming no religious affiliation.

The team's mathematical model attempts to account for the interplay between the number of religious respondents and the social motives behind being one.

The result, reported at the American Physical Society meeting in Dallas, US, indicates that religion will all but die out altogether in those countries.

- - Well, with less and less people professing religion it will be that much easier for the Wild Beast to turn on it! - -

Interesting, but remember it is supposed to happen suddenly and as a shock, while religion is still active and powerful - it can't be a gradual thing. The whore is still riding the wild beast when she is attacked.
