Google Box TV

Recommended Posts

I just saw advertised. Google Box is coming down Under soon.

going to the search engine I read this......Google TV is a smart TV platform from Google co-developed by IntelSony, and Logitech that was launched in October 2010[2]with official devices initially made by Sony and Logitech.[3] Google TV integrates the Android operating system and the Google Chrome web browser to create an interactive television overlay on top of existing Internet television and WebTV sites to add a10-foot user interface, for a smart TV experience.

Google TV's first generation devices were all based on x86 architecture processors by Intel and were created and commercialized by Sony and Logitech. The second generation of devices are all based on ARM architecture processors and with additional partners including LGSamsung,[4] Vizio, and Hisense. In 2013, more second generation Google TV supported devices were announced by new partners, including HisenseNetgearTCL, and Asus, some of which include 3D television (3D TV) display output capabilities.

An October 2013 report suggests that Google might cease using the Google TV label and require all new devices to berebranded as Android TV.[5] The creation of a new platform of Android TV was confirmed at Google I/O in 2014.

So I am wondering if this is a feature that we use on our TVs that they receive the new age of Smart. & will I be able to access JW. TV on there. I don't have a Roku. yet. but am looking for other ways to access the site through my TV?

Looks interesting anyhow. Does anyone here on the forum use it?

Does your tv support USB ?

If yes just use chrome browser with FVD downloader to capture videos from TV broadcasting

Transfer captured video to USB

Play on your Tv (quality is very very good)

This is the only way I watch TV broadcasting plus popcorn ha ha ha

Man was created as an intelligent creature with the desire to explore and understand :)
