IPad mini 2 or Google nexus 7(2013)

One of these two this year. I haven't used an apple product before but I keep hearing that they are very complex. I just want a tablet(with good speed) for studying and at meetings as well as surfing the web. Anyone with information about these two tablets?

I use nexus 7 2013 and it's awesome. I use it on meetings and also in ministry

I am using the Nexus7 v.2. I'd gladly recommend it to anyone asking. I've been using it every single day for the past year for meetings, service, reading books, browsing the net, watching movies while traveling and so forth. I have no complain. I would even say the battery is improved with Android 5.0.

If you have the chance, go for it, you won't regret!

You have picked 2 of the better tablets that are out there currently for the

lower price range!

I have had both Android and Apple tablets/phones.

Each person has their preferences and opinion, so I guess

no one is wrong or right, just whichever suits them the best.

But since you are asking for opinions I will offer mine.

 

The Nexus 7 is 1 of the best 7" tablets for the price.

But so is the iPad Mini.

So let's say that these 2 tablets are somewhat close to equal.

Then which 1 should a person a choose?

 

It comes down to the APPS!

There are many articles and blogs on the internet that

indicate by a wide margin that the Apps for iPads(Apple) are

superior in quality!

 

This has to do with several important factors.

I won't go into that now, but you or anyone that wants

to know more about this I can share this info.

 

Beside the better quality, there are also Apps made by many

developers that they only make for Apple and not Android.

And some of these Apps you would love to use for studying our magzaines, books,

and other "productivity" apps.

There have even been brothers/sisters on here

that have had an iPad but now have an Android and

are quite disappointed. Not so much because of the

Operating systems but because of the Apps.

I remember 1 person posted something like this with deep frustration,

"Where is this App?

(a certain App that the person loved on the iPad but did not exist on Android.)

Very disappointed.

I have an iPad and have set up numerous Android tablets for friends at the hall. For me I find the iPad to be much more user friendly and easy to navigate, especially for beginners.

I wanted to go in for the iPad mini 2 WiFi version 16GB but I realize it has No GPS and for the price it stands, I might go for the nexus
