According to some East Brittain is being taken over by Islamist believers and they are not happy about it. They have been protesting this month against each other. Some news articles stated that while they are shutting down churches they see Mosques popping up on every corner. The Christian groups say the Islamists are trying to take over and they are going to fight against this happening.

There is also a Muslim campaign to enforce the Sharia law in this region and recruiting new members into their faith.

First article was about East London not East of the whole country. Many of the people who heed Anjem Choudhary  in London,  have left to go fight/ marry fighters and get killed in Syria or have been watched by Police and arrested in anti-terrorism raids.

 

Anjem Choudhary is not regarded by the majority of Muslims in this country who want to work and live peaceably. He does not work and regards his claiming £25 000 a year in state benefits for his large family and address as part of his right to use the 'unrighteous wealth of the infidel' 'jihadseeker's allowance'. His latest rants outside Mosques in London have been telling Muslims not to vote in the General Election.All that happens is that he stands in the street shouting his rants and brings out the Right-wing bully element in Britain to shout back in his face and then when a crowd gathers to see the 'face-off' the Police come and eventually break it up if they fear a fight will ensue. If the Media come before the Police, they take pictures and make something bigger of it than there is, before it dissipates.

 

Pegida came over from Europe, gathered a few  right-wing supporters from cities in UK that do have big Muslim populations and tried to stir up the people of Newcastle, who mostly hadn't heard of them. Pegida got a counter-protest bigger than them, most of whom came by coach from other areas to tell Pegida to go back to where they came from. Pegida had their protest and left and all returned to normal. Newcastle has a bigger, fairly peaceful, Chinese community than Muslim and just across the Tyne river in Gateshead they have one of the largest community of Jews in Europe, so why Pegida chose Newcastle we don't know. They claimed that they had local support, but it would be just a few bored right-wing/racist types as it's not that cosmopolitan in Newcastle like other areas.

 

We have our conventions in Newcastle, it's a 2 hour drive from our home.
