Direct vs hints

So I know this sister  for many years she has never been able

 To take hints, you have  to be direct with her. I have never heard of 

Someone being like that

 

 Do you know someone like that

if you gave them a hint? It would go way over there head and they would look at like they have know

Idea what you just said  She told me that is was not very common and she was like as a kid to

I prefer to be with direct people who have learned tact. Giving hints makes me feel like someone is trying to sugar-coat something that needs to be said. So just come out and say it and we'll discuss it. We've had a lot of information lately about being forgiving and to look for the best in our bro's so we shouldn't be direct in a way that condemns but in a way that encourages growth and learning.

We all mess up, it's a given.

I agree with you Cheryl. Just tell me, if you think its something that will hurt my feeling, tell me privately. And, if, I'm mature enough, I will you know you are looking out for my best interests. As we say here in Philly, "good lookin out".
