I've had ideas over the years but never could develop them far enough . Yes, my latest idea is kind of exciting for me.

I've heard it can be a very long and frustrating process because bits and pieces of peoples ideas can be patented and if your idea incorporates anyone else's ideas it can be difficult to navigate - that is why there are patent lawyers!
