It's our new fav cool show.   <'>  The brother in law was over the other night and thoroughly enjoyed it. I just can't convince him to go, after all of the atrocities our brothers have suffered all these years. I guess the government has let up quite a bit recently  The brothers in Cuba are very zealous, someday soon we would like to visit them.

Just wondering...Are the brothers meeting in homes or are they allowed to have Kingdom Halls with signs and meeting schedules ?

There is a 1 week cruise starting in Dec, originating out of Montego Bay Jamaica or Havana that stops in a different Cuban port each day.

Have you went on the cruise package ?  Or are there direct flight specials out of Ontario ?

There are direct flight we go into Holguin its about 2/3rds the way down the island. We have been there 2X and have been told up till now not to contact the brothers. I really hope this time we can. I will call our bethal  and ask again I hope its changed. I heard the bethal was open again. But I think it is in Havana where this show is taped. The people are very humble and ingenious with what they have to do and how they make things. They enjoy even helping people off the resort. 

 

We fly out of Toronto Pearson but there are flights out of the Waterloo Airport as well.

Sounds like it is still yet pretty restrictive. I didn't realize that Canadians weren't able to be in contact with our Cuban brothers.

That was a few years ago though the first year we went. I have to call Bethal and see if there is more info on it. Until I can I won't make any assumptions.

Tonight's episode is about when they find out about the new dialog with the U.S. Very interesting to see their reaction.
