I met my granddaughter for the first time

Recommended Posts

Thank you and they just moved in with us so now I can spend every day with him. I know this is not right to brag but I am loving every minute that I have with him and praising Jehovah for this opportunity.

My oldest grandchild is 10 and lived in Calif. all his life so I missed out on most of his growing up years. But him and his mother are coming out soon to stay!!

Happy Days!!

Wow Deenna, you have some very handsome and attractive grandsons.

I know what you mean about getting to be around our grands as never before. I too missed out on the early years of my oldest grands too! However, since I moved to where they were, I got to see others born and it has been great to see them grow from lil babies to toddlers and love, hug, kiss and spoil them.

I am happy for LeslieDean, you Deenna and myself for our relationships with our grands.

Proverbs 27:11- Be wise, my son, and make my heart rejoice, So that I can make a reply to him that taunts me.

Charlotte--it is embarrassing for me to say that I have never met my granddaughter until now.  People raise their eyebrows in a look of astonishment.  I feel like a really bad grandmother but I know it was not my choice.  This is the only place, among JW's, where I can say it without fear of judgement.  I hate that the girls are sick but so far it is working out.  If it had not happened I don't know that my daughter would have made an attempt to talk with me....

Your grandson is beautiful!!  Looks so onery and fun loving.  Deena what a handsome little guy in that hat!

LeslieDean

Thankful to be among friends everyday!

I know its embarrassing but like you said it wasn't our fault, just that it turned out that way.

Great to hear things are going well with your daughter too.

  • 1 month later...

Missed a lot of things in the little while I could not be here... :(

Great news for you Leslie and Deena! That must mean a lot to have your kids and grand kids close by! I hope their health has gotten better now.

I know Leslie how much this means to you and I am really happy for you!
