Thank you for posting this. Our Brother Gerhard will no doubt be welcomed back to his loved ones in the resurrection. {pausing}...

But you know, my heart truly breaks for our brothers and sisters still in unjust incarceration, namely our brothers in South Korea, our young brother and two sisters in Azerbaijan and - the situation that cuts deeply in me - that of our Eritrea brothers, Paulos Eyassu, Isaac Mogos, and Negede Teklemariam -- imprisoned for over 20 years!! Not to mention our sisters there in Eritrea who are jailed along with their children under a cruel dictator.

Do we desperately need God's Kingdom to come soon? Friends, let us keep these dear ones in our prayers also.

What a heartbreaking letter from our dear brother, only 19 years old. And now, a plaque on the family's former residence. Some are beginning to recognize the injustices imposed on Jehovah's People.   Our Brother Gerhard did not imagine that we would still be mourning him some 75 years later. He may be surprised at his resurrection to learn how many lives were affected by his integrity. It leaves me speechless. Yes, we have to keep praying for our brothers and sisters who are still being persecuted.
