play on subject of teaching evolution

For those interested in such things, there is a play on Vimeo regarding the problems encountered by faculty members who are accused of teaching religion because they doubt Darwinism.  The sort of problems discussed in the movie "Expelled". 

 

It is called "Disinherit The Wind", a play on the title of the Spencer Tracy movie about the Scopes trial. 

 

I found it very interesting.  It is quite long at 2 1/2 hours, and was filmed in the theatre with the author playing the main character, a professor sacked by the University of California and unable to find employment, nor any funding for research.  The setting for the most part is a courtroom where a judge is hearing his case for reinstatement and damages.
